Patience's gift from Pamela was an easy bake set. Here Destiny and Patience sample their goodies! They had a blast cooking up all kinds of mini sweets!

They even made a menu and called their restaurant Delighted Desserts.

I got back from my trip late Saturday evening and Sunday was Patience's 9th Birthday.  She wanted to go to Champs Skating rink with a couple of her friends but I found that arranging that from across the ocean was impossible.When  I came home we found out that Champs no longer even has a Christian Skate Night.  I am very disappointed because they used to have a Christian Skate Night.   So for the Birthday Girl we made a trip to Build A Bear and got Icees in the Mall.  Mary Carol had gotten the cake makins for cupcakes but then Patience decided she wanted a cake so that's what we did. She did the decorations herself!  It was a "thrown together" Birthday celebration but she is a very good sport and I am glad I was home in time for her birthday!  Time goes so fast. Where has 9 years gone?
