Facebook and Privacy

Facebook and Privacy. Can you even use these words together? Ok just in case you are wondering... Facebook is great and I love being able to contact my family and friends this way and although I really liked the old format much better, I don't have an issue with facebook. That said I like my privacy and I only put on fb what I want the world to know and possibly comment on. Adoption much like pregnancy is a very private thing for us. We do not go into these situations without much prayer. When I was pregnant we didn't tell anyone till I was about 12 weeks along. We kept our lovely little secret to ourselves until it was becoming hard to keep under wraps. We seem to be doing the same thing again with adoption. One reason is I really don't want to draw negativity to our adoption plans. I don't want to hear negative self centered comments. I mean that in the most loving way! We are not telling many people about our dream coming true because we don't want to discuss our financial situation or our ability to parent more children with every family member or concerned friend. It should be enough to know that we have considered all these things and we are moving ahead! So if you don't see or didn't see an announcement on fb this is why! The great news is though... If you got an invite to see our blog you must be insiders (AKA people we feel we can tell!) I am getting more and more excited by the day! I have this cheesy grin on my face. I think we are starting to "show"!
