but when its all said and done which of these would please God? When I stand before God and he says what have you done with your talent(money) And I say "I adopted a child and raised her and loved her and here she is!" or "I bought a boat." Now I am not saying people shouldn't have boats or new cars or campers or anything else that they want and work for. But what is REALLY important in this life? What can we do NOW in this life that will matter for ETERNITY? Naomi has an eternal soul, created by God and he loves her. She will matter for eternity and she can be saved but boats and cars are really not important in the grand scheme of things. Which brings me to another point.... Exactly what is a child's life worth? How much is too much? If your child were dying and the only thing it would take for a cure was money, how much would you pay to save that precious life? Just think about it.
