The Surgery
The surgery went very well. The ASD is repaired and I could go into deep detail about how how her heart was enlarged due to the work it had been doing to compensate and all that but the news is... She did well. She is a fighter. They say today is the hardest day because they are working to find that balance between enough pain meds but not too much. Her hands are restrained to keep her from pulling things that do not need to be pulled just yet. She just had a bath and she is resting. She got a transfusion because she was a little anemic. On a lighter note she was very excited and pleased to get ice water in a cup! She will get pediasure later today. These pictures are not her prettiest but hey I think she looks great! Thank you all for your prayers!

ReplyDeleteSo glad Tallie's doing well - she looks as if she's not distressed by all the changes in her little life these last couple of days.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us updated - I hope the remainder of Tallie's hospital stay goes equally well, and that her recovery will be swift and complete.(btw, she has the prettiest hair and eyes - just gorgeous!)
