Happy Birthday Tallie!

Today is Tallie's 10th birthday.  So last night was our first night home from the hospital and we were cuddling on the couch and she fell asleep actually we both fell asleep.  So I let her sleep there and she slept all night.  She gently rubs the palm of her hand over her cheeks and nose as she sleeps.  She sucks her tongue like a baby while sleeping.  It makes me smile to think the baby is still in there along with the preteen and some day the adult Tallie.
I am a sentimental Mommy so I think back on all my biological kids birthdays to the day that they were born and I wondered if Natalia's (Tallie's previous name) bio Mom would think about her today. As far as I know she has no idea that Tallie has been adopted and now lives in America. She doesn't know that Tallie's heart is fixed now.  She doesn't know that Tallie is such a beautiful girl inside and out. She doesn't hear that giggle and Tallie has never awakened her bio Mom by gently playing with her hair.  I wonder if she saw the horrible conditions of Mogilino when the story went public and wondered if her daughter was there.  I can wonder all I want but this side of Heaven I will probably never know but if I was able I would fly across that ocean in spirit and find that woman and whisper in her ear."Tallie is doing wonderfully and she is loved".
So my little Miss had a wonderful day!  She is loving being back home!  She giggles all the time and she is eating great.  She doesn't bother her incision or the stitches. The bruises on her neck and arms are fading fast.  She makes this silly noise with her mouth and tongue and then giggles and laughs at the sound.  He have to carry her in a cradle hold because of the surgery and she laughs every time we pick her up.  Now that the surgery is past us Tallie's life is getting better daily and I think she knows it!
                                          Isnt She Beautiful?

                                         Not sure about the presents...
Hello Kitty Cake  (prefect for 10 year old girls)

                                              Her Gifts

And YES I DID let her put her hands all in her cake and eat it!
It IS her first Birthday party!

                                                   Ice Cream is a hit!

Here she shows that her interests lie in toys and not clothes... She gets that from me!
                                             Head phones!
So here are some pictures of Tallie's 10th birthday but the very first birthday she has ever been celebrated!  When we were in the adoption process I had her picture on my phone as the background and every time I would see her face I would Thank GOD for her life and the gift she is.  And I thank GOD for making it possible for us to get to her and bring her into our family.  It was such a GOD thing...  Her life is a GOD thing...
