Sowing Seed

We strongly believe in sowing seed. What we want to reap in life we sow! So I have been sowing financially into children's ministries, orphans , Reece's Rainbow, and other adopting families for years now and I believe God will put it on other peoples hearts to "give into our bosom" so to speak for the financial aspect of these adoptions. We have already seen some of this coming to pass :) We have a way to go financially but God is working things together for these children! I do not ask for money! God is our source not men. We also sow into these places with our "sweat" and our time and talents. "God is not mocked and whatsoever a man shall sow that shall he also reap."

We intend to advocate for the rights and needs of special children worldwide until Jesus comes or we die of very advanced (by today's standards) old age. It is our life! In going about our daily life as parents we incorporate the "work of the Father" into daily practice. That is why we are doing the Buddy Walk /RR adoption table. That is why we advocate for Special Olympics and for Reece's Rainbow. That is where our efforts are focused until God tells us to do something different (which I don't anticipate, but would comply with).

God gives us the desires of our hearts and this is our desire! More so every day! Have we given up some things in our lives that we could have had, had we not chosen to obey the High Calling for our lives? Yes in a way, but also no in a way. Yes we don't have some things that are considered desirable to most people in this life, but our desires have been altered and we DO have what WE desire in this life.

I will stand before God someday and say you gave me everything that pertained to life and Godliness.... In fact I say that NOW! Thank you Father for the tremendous blessings you have given us! Thank you for calling and using our lives for your will. It is an honor to serve our God! (yes! I really believe this even when changing dirty diapers!)
