Early this morning I got an e-mail from the attorney in the EE country that she received our commitment document for Ben and that she had contacted the orphanage director where he is living and she has agreed to keep him there until we complete our adoption!
There was a chance that he would be transferred to a different facility. That might have been bad news for me because that would have meant an extra week in country plus more money. But PRAISE GOD prayers answered and little Ben is several steps closer to being Benjamin J. Baker!
What a way to start a blessed day!
I also got word that our home study will FINALLY be ready to submit to USCIS later this week! Whooo hoo! I finished the application today and it just needs signatures and dates and a check for the fees and it goes off to USCIS for a super quick approval!
