We Got our Verbal Referral AND

We finally got our verbal referral.  That is good news because it  means the MOJ has reviewed all our docs and found them to be in order but... The GREAT news is (are you ready??) I GOT MY TRAVEL DATES!!!  This is a LONG time coming!  Gods timing is perfect. So on March 25 I will fly away to EE.  I will land on Saturday and then on Monday our Atty/Friend and I will drive to the smaller town where the orphanage/institutions are.  Then Monday through Friday I will visit both children each day.  I will take lots of pictures and videos. I will measure them for clothing and shoes. I will examine them as best I can to get an idea of where they are health wise and I already have a list of medical tests and evaluations we will have done when we get home (second trip).  I am taking a whole suitcase full of toys! I am going to play with them and love on them!  I am taking two photo books with pics of us for them to look at until I can go back and bring them home.  I will take care of some paperwork while I am there as well. This trip will answer SO many questions for us.  All I have is one very old photo of Talia and some very limited medical information. I actually have three photos of Toby and again very limited medical info.  I will finally know if Talia can walk alone and for how long.  Is her uncorrected foot limiting her mobility? Will she require a wheel chair? What type of shoes can she wear? How much have they grown since their measurements were last taken?  Is Toby the little spitfire his profile leads me to believe?  How does he act around other children and adults. I have a list of questions for the directors of each child's facility concerning their health and social development.  Then on Friday after I visit them we will drive back to capitol city and Saturday I will fly back home.  I will get back home on Patience's 9th Birthday.
