God you are "Neat"!

Wow once again I am impressed with the miraculous way God works all things together for our good and answer our prayers.  Here is the quick version of a very sweet tale of miraculous intervention!  A family goes to EE to adopt a little girl  with ds.  The director of the institution where the girl was would NOT sign off on the adoption. He could NOT understand why they wanted her.  He is not a BAD man, he just didnt understand... Nothing could be done and with out his consent NO ADOPTION. So the family adopts two different children both with ds as well.  Then they return home and adopt another child (with ds) and have another baby (bio) and then are called to return to EE and adopt a sweet little boy with cp.  While preparing for this adoption God miraculously opens the door for the first little girl and they are able to also adopt her! So now she is home with her family. Granted its been a couple of years since the first time they intended to adopt her GOD is faithful!  During the time that the adoption of this precious little girl was denied I contacted Reeces Rainbow to become a prayer warrior for 2 children.  I specifically requested two older girls. The older the children get the less chance they have of ever being adopted so I wanted to specifically pray for older children and I was assigned (quite randomly on my part)  Ginger and Sasha.  I already knew the story of Sasha not being able to be adopted and it looked pretty hopeless. BUT GOD!  So the prayer warrior assignment was to pray for the assigned child until he or she got adopted and was home in their new family.  Which I did faithfully!  He answered the prayers of a faithful family and my prayers in a miraculous way.   I made a poster of my "girls" and I taped it beside my desk so I would see it daily and remember to pray for them.  This is the poster I made. As you can see it is tattered and beat up because it was right there in my face and it got brushed up against countless times.  I am SO HAPPY to tell you that not just Sasha (She has a different name now) but BOTH Sasha and Ginger have both been adopted and are living with their forever families!  This is quite the miracle because they are both older.  (And NO I am not taking any kind of credit because I was only praying GODs will for them and for ALL orphans but we must never cease to pray... because the effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth  much)! As Christians we are ALL called to action on behalf of orphans!  Please Please if all you can do is PRAY then DO IT! If you can give financially to support orphans or give to grant foundations or give to support adopting families DO IT!  This story has a happy ending and together we can have a LOT more happy endings!
