Princess Castle dreams bed!

Ok, So Today while running home after Zachary's EEG (long story... He had a grand mal seizure last November and he will most likely never have another one but we test to make sure all is well...) I stopped in to our local Goodwill store. I haven't been in there for a while and I had a couple of minutes and guess what I found? (OK so if you read the title you already guessed...) I found a step 2 Castle dreams convertible bed! These things cost a mint! And I got one for $15.75 !!! We put it together to make sure all the pieces were there and now Talia will sleep in a princess bed! It darn near made me cry to find that bed! I had all but given up. I am still wanting to get the Little tikes cottage bed for "A" and the larger version for Patience but I am still amazed to have found this! Now to keep the girlies from fighting over it...

Now that the holidays are behind us we have some work to do around the house. Several home improvement projects need to get finished and we want to swap down stairs bedrooms. We are going to set what is now our room up for the little girls and move our bed into what is now their room. I am still trying to figure out how we can get our King size bed (which I dearly love) into that little room. It will fit but that's about it. So we are still working on those details... But we will set the girlies room up and repaint it and make it nice. It is the larger room and so we will have Talia's princess castle bed in here as well as a twin bed and two cribs. All the kids seem to spend a lot of time in the girlie room watching movies on VHS. I am so glad we have that VHS player and all these movies. You can buy them for nothing these days. I will try to remember to photo document the transformation of this room. (I am trying to add a pic of Talia's new bed but blogger is being stubborn). So now Little man will come home to a new blue race car bed and Princess Talia's bed is ready!
I have misplaced my cable to upload photos so for now no new Christmas pictures :( but soon!! Maybe tomorrow I will attempt to do it from my laptop (which I really need to start getting used to using...)
